Qantas allocates more A380 aircraft to the North America route and refurbishes the B747 North America fleet with new A380 product. Since October 2011, Qantas started deploying refurbished B747-400 aircraft with fully flat Skybeds in Business, award-winning Mark Newson designedseats in Economy, Panasonic in-seat entertainment in every seat and self-service snack bar in Economy. Another North America fleet enhancement began in November 2011 when Qantas increases Los Angeles to Melbourne A380 service to six days per week. The A380 will then operate on Monday,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to Melbourne.
