Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Offer is available at participating locations in Australia and is valid for rentals between 1 May and 31 July 2008.
2. Minimum rental period of one (1) day applies, with a maximum of one (1) entry per rental.
3. Rental days are based on a twenty-four (24) hour period. A fifty-nine (59) minute grace period is allowed for returns. Returns outside the grace period will be charged up to an extra day rental fee.
4. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, special offer or coupon.
5. Offer not available on insurance replacement.
6. Offer applies to the following vehicle group and is subject to availability at time of collection: Toyota Prius Hybrid Hatch.
7. Hertz standard driver and credit qualifications in effect at the time and place of rental apply.
8. Minimum renter age without surcharge is 25 years. Drivers aged 21-24 years may be eligible to rent subject to an age differential charge.
9. Vehicle models may differ and specifications may vary by location. Vehicles can only be reserved by car group and not by particular car model or colour.

Draw Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter is Hertz Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 31 004 407 087) of 6th floor, 10 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3205 ('Promoter').
3. The promotion commences at 12.01am (AEST) on 1 May 2008 and ends at 11.59pm (AEST) on 31 July 2008 ('Promotion Period').
4. Entry is open only to Australian residents ('Eligible Entrants'). Employees and Directors of Hertz Australia Pty Ltd and its related entities, companies and agencies associated with the competition, including any prize providers, the immediate families of the above listed persons, Insurance Replacement renters are excluded from entering the competition.
5. To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, reserve a Toyota Prius Hybrid Hatch, from a participating Hertz location in Australia for 1 day or more. Entry to the draw is automatic upon completion of the rental.
6. Entrants may enter as many times as they like, in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address in order to claim their prize.
8. The draw will take place at 2pm (AEST) on 15 August 2008 ('Draw Date') at the offices of Belong Pty Limited (ABN 75 058 774 593) Level 8, 155 George Street, Sydney NSW 2001.
9. Winners will be notified by mail within 2 days of the Draw Date and their names published in The Australian newspaper on 29 August 2008.
- 10. There are 5 prizes to be won. The first 5 Eligible Entrants selected at random from all valid entries will receive a holiday, namely, $10,000 worth of travel.
- a. The prize value of $10,000 must include accommodation at one of the following Voyages Hotels & Resorts: Voyages Bedarra Island Resort (Great Barrier Reef), Voyages Longitude 131? (Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park) and Voyages Wrotham Park Lodge (Far North Queensland).
- b. All travel arrangements must be booked with Hertz Australia Pty Ltd.
- c. The prize value of $10,000 must be redeemed at one time only.
- d. The travel must be booked on or before 1 year from the date of notification of winning the prize.
- e. Changes to travel arrangements made after the booking has been confirmed may incur fees at the responsibility of the prize winner.
- f. Insurance is at the prize winner's expense, as are visas, passports, meals, drinks, spending money and other items of a personal nature that are not included in the flight, tour or accommodation or travel arrangements chosen through Voyages Australian Holiday Experiences.
- g. All travel arrangements are subject to availability.
- b. All travel arrangements must be booked with Hertz Australia Pty Ltd.
11. Total prize pool value is a maximum of $50,000. All prize values include any GST. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation on the prize value.
12. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash. No changes can be made to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued.
13. In the event that the winner is under eighteen years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/s or legal guardian.
14. The Promoter and their related bodies corporate, officers, employees, contractors and agents, and all other suppliers of prizes, will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. The winner must claim the Prize on or before 5pm on 2 December 2008, otherwise the prize is forfeited. If a prize remains unclaimed after this date a second chance draw will be held at the same time and place as the original draw on 3 December 2008, subject to any written directions given under applicable law. In the event of a second chance draw, the winner(s) will be notified by mail within 2 days of the second chance draw date and their names published in The Australian newspaper on 10 December 2008.
16. If for any reason the promotion is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
