Starting immediately (Tuesday 15th April, 2008) the following documents will now be required to process a Chinese visa:-

TOURIST VISA

• Passport with at least 6 months validity

• Completed application form

• Recent colour passport photo (no "party" photos)

• COPY OF RETURN TICKET or E-TICKET PRINTOUT

• PROOF OF HOTEL RESERVATION

• PROOF OF RELATIONS IF YOU ARE VISITING RELATIVES AND WERE NOT BORN IN CHINA

• Passport with at least 6 months validity

• Completed application form

• Recent colour passport photo (no "party" photos)

• COPY OF RETURN TICKET or E-TICKET PRINTOUT

• PROOF OF HOTEL RESERVATION

• OFFICIAL INVITATION LETTER FROM RELEVANT CHINESE GOVERNMENT OFFICE IN CHINA.
  This must be arranged by the company or organisation you are visiting in China.
