Changes to Heathrow Express from March 2008
With the opening of Heathrow's new Terminal 5 (T5) on 27 March 2008, changes will be made to the Heathrow Express train service to and from London:
- T4 will be removed from the express loop, with trains stopping at Heathrow Central (T1, 2 and 3) before continuing directly on to T5.
- Passengers travelling to T4 will need to disembark at Heathrow Central and join the free inter-terminal service.
- Services on the Heathrow Express will continue to depart London Paddington every quarter of an hour, arriving at Heathrow Central 15 minutes later. The total journey time to T5 will be approximately 23 minutes.
From March, the alternative Heathrow Connect train service will travel to T4 from Heathrow Central.
