About British Airways

Based in the United Kingdom, along with its franchisees and affiliates BA Cityflyer, Comair^ and Sun-Air of Scandinavia^, British Midland International and OpenSkies, British Airways flies to 170 destinations in Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa and North and South America.
When flying on eligible British Airways fares and flights with a BA flight number, you can:
- earn points,
- earn Status credits on eligible booking classes,
- earn a Status bonus until 30 March 2013,
- earn a Cabin bonus, and
- earn a minimum of 125 points with the Minimum Points Guarantee until 30 March 2013.

Earn points when flying on eligible fares and flights.

Note
- Status credits are earned on all eligible booking classes.
- Points are not earned when travelling in classes other than those specified.
- Travel in Discount Economy in the eligible booking classes that is not between these city pairs will earn a base rate of 0.25:
- Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney and London or Frankfurt via Bangkok or Singapore,
- Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney and Bangkok or Singapore, and
- London or Frankfurt and Bangkok or Singapore. - Until 30 March 2013, travel in Discount Economy in the eligible booking classes between these city pairs will earn a base rate of 1. For travel from 31 March 2013, all travel in Discount Economy will earn a base rate of 0.25:
- Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney and London or Frankfurt via Bangkok or Singapore,
- Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney and Bangkok or Singapore, and
- London or Frankfurt and Bangkok or Singapore. - For travel from 31 March 2013, members will no longer earn a Minimum Points Guarantee when travelling on British Airways fares and flights (with a BA flight number).
- For travel from 31 March 2013, members will no longer earn a Status bonus when travelling on British Airways fares and flights (with a BA flight number).
Minimum points guarantee for travel until 30 March 2013:
- 125 points when flying in Discount Economy.
- 500 points when flying in First, Business, World Traveller Plus or Economy.
For travel from 31 March 2013, Minimum Points Guarantee will no longer apply to Qantas Frequent Flyers travelling on British Airways fares and flights (with a BA flight number).
