Jetstar is a low fares airline flying from Australia and New Zealand to 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, along with partners Jetstar Asia (3K) based in Singapore and Jetstar Japan (GK), based in Tokyo.

Earning Points

Earn points and Status Credits when travelling on Starter Plus, Starter Max or Business Max bundle fares with Jetstar Airways (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK).

From 26 October 2014, Jetstar Asia (3K) will take over operations of the Valuair (VF) flights. 3K will not make any changes to the existing VF flight schedules, on-board services or fare rules. Customers booked under the VF flight number will now fly under the 3K flight number.

All you have to do is purchase a Plus or Max bundle fare and provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer number when booking.

The table below shows the Jetstar international and domestic fares and how they align to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Earn Categories.

To see how many Qantas Points and Status Credits^ you'll earn for each Qantas Frequent Flyer category, based on the different fares available when you fly Qantas and Jetstar refer to the Qantas and Jetstar Earning Table.

  Status Credits are earned on all eligible booking classes. Flights operated by Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK) do not offer Business Class or Business max.
Excluded:
Qantas Points and Status Credits are not earned when travelling in the Economy Cabin on flights with a Jetstar (JQ) Jetstar Asia (3K) or Jetstar Japan (GK) flight number as part of a Qantas International fare or when a Jetstar flight voucher has been selected in lieu of Points and Status Credits earn on eligible international Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (3K) fares on selected routes.

Qantas Points and Status Credits are not earned on Economy Starter or Business fares.         

Note:

  • Status credits are earned on all eligible flights.
  • Flights operated by Jetstar Japan (GK) and Jetstar Asia (3K) do not offer Business Class.
  • Qantas Points and Status Credits are not earned when travelling in the Economy Cabin on flights with a Jetstar (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) or Jetstar Japan (GK) flight number as part of a Qantas International fare or on Jetstar Asia (3K), Jetstar Japan (GK) when a Jetstar flight voucher has been selected in lieu of Qantas Points and Status Credit earn.
  • Qantas Points are not earned when travelling in fares other than those specified.


Minimum Points Guarantee

Our Minimum Points Guarantee means you'll receive at least:

  • 800 Qantas Points when flying on an Economy Starter Plus or Economy Starter Max fare.
  • 1,200 Qantas Points when flying on a Business Max fare.
