There is some change to the way you can earn points with this program after
31 March 2009.
If you hold one of these cards and are enrolled in the American Express Membership RewardsTM Ascent program, you can retain your current card but if you wish to continue to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points after 31 March 2009 from your card use you will need to opt in to a Qantas Frequent Flyer option offered by American Express by 31 March 2009.
What happens next?
If you wish to transfer your existing Membership Rewards points to Qantas Frequent Flyer you will need to do so before 31 March 2009.

If you wish to continue earning Qantas Frequent Flyer points after 31 March 2009 you will need to opt in to a new program called Qantas Direct. Contact American Express on
