Double Dip and earn Qantas Points plus Hilton HHonors Points

To earn Qantas Points at hotels and resorts within the Hilton HHonors™ portfolio you need to be a Hilton HHonors member.

What you need to do

If you're not a Hilton HHonors member, it's free to join. Simply follow the below steps:

Step 1 - Join

Step 2 - Login

Login to your HHonors account with your new HHonors number and PIN.

Step 3 - Preferences

Step 4 - Choose a 'My Way Earning Style'

Select "Points and Miles" earning style.

Please note: ‘Airline Miles’ or ‘Variable Miles’, means Qantas Points. Where 1 Airline Mile = 1 Qantas Point.

Step 5 - Choose your 'Preferred Travel Partner'

Select Qantas Airways as your preferred travel partner and enter your Frequent Flyer membership number

Step 6 - Save Preferences

You'll now automatically earn 1 Qantas Point per eligible US$1 spent^, plus an additional 10 HHonors Base Points for most stays within the Hilton HHonors portfolio.*

Existing Hilton HHonors members

If you're already a Hilton HHonors member and currently enrolled in Points and Fixed Miles, you'll automatically start to earn 1 Qantas Point per eligible US$1 dollar spent^, plus an additional 10 HHonors Base Points for most stays within the Hilton HHonors portfolio.* This will appear as Points & Miles™ in your HHonors account profile and no further action is required.

Important information:
^ For Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Conrad® Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton™, Embassy Suites Hotels™, Hilton Garden Inn™, Hilton Grand Vacations® and Waldorf Astoria™ Hotels & Resorts, eligible US$1 spent means Qantas Points can be earned on room rate, food and beverage, telephone, laundry, pay-per-view movies, entertainment and recreational facilities, and other incidental charges charged to the member's room during the member's stay. For Hampton®, Home2 Suites by Hilton™, and Homewood Suites by Hilton™, eligible US$1 spent means Qantas Points can be earned on room rate only. Charges in connection with banquets or other catering functions and dining room or other charges not billed to a member's room during a stay are not eligible for Qantas Points. * Qantas Frequent Flyer membership and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. From 6 January 2014, you'll earn 1 Qantas Point per eligible US$1 spent and 10 HHonors Base Points on most stays at hotels and resorts within the Hilton HHonors portfolio of brands except for Home2Suites by Hilton where your earn rate is capped at 100 Qantas Points per stay. This will appear as Points & MilesTM in your HHonors account profile. Qantas Points can only be awarded to the member who checks-in. Members cannot earn Qantas Points for another guest’s stay. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more members occupying the same room. Qantas Points are not earned on cancelled bookings. Qantas Points are earned on no show bookings provided the member has paid for the booking in full and the booking has not been cancelled. Allow up to 6 weeks after check-out for Qantas Points to be credited to your account.
