1. How do I register to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points with Optus?
Registering to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points from Optus Rewards can be done in three easy steps;
1. Complete the registration form at optus.com.au/points.
2. Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to your new Optus Rewards membership. If you don't have one, join the Qantas Frequent Flyer program now and the normal joining fee of $82.50 (inc GST) will be waived.
3. Add, then validate your eligible Optus services.
You will then earn points when the payment of your added Optus service has been processed. Please allow up to 30 days after payment has been processed for your points to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

2. How many points can I earn with Optus?
Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn two Qantas Frequent Flyer points* for every dollar spent on eligible Optus Personal services and one point for every dollar spent on eligible Optus Small to Medium Business services.

3. I don't have an Optus account. Can I still join Optus Rewards?
Yes. However you won't earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points until you have purchased an eligible Optus service, registered for Optus Rewards, linked your Qantas Frequent Flyer program membership and successfully added and validated your service to your Optus Rewards membership. Then, when you pay your bill, you will be eligible to earn points.

5. When do I earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points from Optus?
Qantas Frequent Flyer points are earned when your payment of your eligible Optus account or recharge of your eligible Optus prepaid service is processed. Your points will usually be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 30 days of when your Optus account payment is processed.

6. Can I give my points to someone else?
Yes. Qantas Frequent Flyer members who are registered with Optus Rewards can delegate the points they are entitled to earn from their eligible Optus services to another Optus Rewards member who has at least one attached account of their own.
7. How do I give my points to someone else?
Once you have created your Optus Rewards membership and attached your accounts just go to your profile where you can nominate the person you'd like your points to be credited to by entering their Qantas Frequent Flyer number and last name. Both you and the individual you want to delegate your points to need to be members of Optus Rewards and Qantas Frequent Flyer, have linked the memberships and have at least one account attached to each Optus Rewards membership.
8. What happens to my Qantas Frequent Flyer points if I ask for a refund from Optus?
If a refund is issued, any Qantas Frequent Flyer points that were earned on the refunded amount of that product or service will be deducted from your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account.

9. I have earned some Qantas Frequent Flyer points through Optus Rewards but don't see them in my Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
Your points will usually be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 30 days of when your Optus account payment is processed. If you believe there is an error with the points you have earned through Optus Rewards, please contact the Optus Customer Service Team.

10. I have had trouble signing up to Optus Rewards. What do I do?
If you are having difficulties in registering, please call the Optus Customer Service Centre.

If you are having trouble with any of the sign up stages, please check your internet connection and try again.
Some browsers may not support all the functionality during the sign up stage. Ensure you have the latest version of your browser.
11. What happens to my points if I don't pay my Optus account bill or my bill payment is late?
You must pay your bill to earn any Qantas Frequent Flyer points - if you do not pay your bill, you will not earn any points on that bill.
If you pay your bill late you will not earn any Qantas Frequent Flyer points on that bill until the bill is paid. Additionally, points are not earned on late, dishonour or bill payment fees or on any accounts for which debt collecting agencies are engaged.

12. My accounts with Optus are under a business name, how do I register for points?
- An Optus SMB account may be held by a sole trader or an organisation. Only individuals can join Optus Rewards and the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and earn points.
- If you hold an Optus SMB account as a sole trader, only you can earn points on that account.
- If an Optus SMB account is held by an organisation (not including a sole trader) the SMB Account holder must assign an SMB nominee. Then an SMB nominee must add that Optus SMB account to his or her Optus Rewards membership before any points can be earned for payments made on that Optus SMB account.
- As an SMB nominee, you may add more than one Eligible Product to your Optus Rewards membership.
- Each Optus SMB account held by an organisation may be added to a different SMB nominee's Optus Rewards membership.
- There can only be one SMB nominee per Optus SMB account at any given time.
- You must be an Authorised Signatory on your Optus SMB account to assign a nominee.

13. Do I need to register twice for Optus Rewards if I have both a Small to Medium Business and Personal account?
You can only register for the Optus Rewards program once. If you have both Optus SMB and Personal accounts you can add these to the same Optus Rewards profile. Please note that you must be the sole trader or a nominee to add an SMB account*.

14. Can I add all my Optus accounts to a single Optus Rewards member account?
Yes, you can add all your eligible Optus services to a single Optus Rewards membership, however you can only add 10 services during the registration process.
