Each member airline participates in the other airlines' loyalty programs, which makes it easier and even more rewarding for you when you travel, with access to more lounges, tier recognition and more ways to earn and redeem points.
Members of other Airline Loyalty Programs
If you are a member of a loyalty program of one of our partner airlines, you can earn points when travelling on eligible Qantas flights in eligible fare classes, or use your points to redeem award tickets on Qantas flights.
We participate in a number of loyalty programs of airlines that operate in the USA including:
- Alaska Airlines,
- American Airlines,
- British Airways,
- LAN.
When making a booking on an eligible Qantas flight, in an eligible fare class, quote your membership number to ensure you will earn your points.
Note: check with your loyalty program for the terms and conditions associated with earning and redeeming points for Qantas flights. Not all Qantas flights earn points through other airline loyalty programs.
Alaska Airlines
Qantas is a partner of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program.
Earning points
Members in the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program can earn miles on eligible Qantas flights in eligible fare classes.
Using points
Alaska Airline Mileage Plan members can use their points to redeem miles for award tickets on eligible Qantas flights.
American Airlines
Qantas is a partner of the American Airlines AAdvantage program.

Members in the American Airlines AAdvantage program can earn miles on eligible Qantas flights in eligible fare classes.

American Airlines AAdvantage members can use their points to redeem miles for award tickets on eligible Qantas flights.
British Airways
Qantas is a partner of the British Airways Executive Club program.

* The number of Award seats is limited and depends on the flight, date, season and destination. Some flights may not have Award seats available. Award flights are subject to advance booking requirements (of at least 24 hours before scheduled departure). For more information, check with your airline loyalty program.
