The Basics
Growing your points balance
You can earn points when you fly, and earn on the ground as well, with a wide range of over 400 partners. Once you've earned enough points, you have over 1,000 ways to use them at our online store, or you can use them for flights and seat upgrades.
Membership from Bronze to Platinum
You start out as a Bronze Frequent Flyer. The more you fly, the higher your status, from Silver through Gold to Platinum. Higher status brings extra benefits like more points when you fly, priority check-in and Qantas Club membership.

It's Easy to Earn Points
It's easier than you think to grow your points balance. Here are three ways you can earn points:

Fly with Qantas and Jetstar
Earn points on eligible flights and fares with Qantas, Jetstar and our 23 partner airlines.* You can also earn more when you fly in Business and First. To make sure you're well rewarded when you fly Qantas, you're guaranteed to earn at least 1,000 points on even the shortest Qantas flight.^
Use a Direct Earn Credit or Charge Card
Use a card that lets you earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points on your everyday spending and watch your points balance grow every month. It's a great way to earn points without flying!

Use a Direct Earn credit or charge card to shop with any one of our other partners and you can earn points twice: once with your card and once with the other partner.
Shop with our Partners
We have a wide range of over 400 partners that we're always adding to, giving you plenty of ways to earn points every day. Earn on your everyday shopping at participating Woolworths Supermarkets and when you dine at over 100 restaurants, bars and cafes. Earn with credit cards, hotel stays, car rentals, car sales and services, travel, mobile and broadband, entertainment, finance, business, real estate, the list goes on.

Use your points for a Classic Award to any of 50 destinations around Australia and 625 destinations around the world.

Qantas and Jetstar Any Seat Awards
Use your points for any seat on any Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ) flight as long as there is a seat available for sale. The fare includes surcharges, fees and taxes. Use just points or you can use Points Plus Pay for most Any Seat Awards.~

Extra Benefits
So that you can be rewarded as much as possible, we offer you more privileges the more you fly. By moving up through Silver, Gold and Platinum membership, you can enjoy all kinds of extra benefits. Things like:

How to get the best Award seat deal
Qantas Frequent Flyer Classic Award or Any Seat Award? If you're planning a trip, it's worth checking both. Classic Awards are offered at a fixed points level, while the points needed for Any Seat Awards vary from day to day. Any Seat Awards also include applicable surcharges, fees and taxes, while Classic Awards don't. (Though you can use extra points to cover these charges for Australia and New Zealand domestic Classic Awards.)~

Unsure about the difference between top-up points and Points Plus Pay? Here are some common terms explained.
* Fare type and route restrictions apply to the earning of points and status credits on Jetstar and certain oneworld® Alliance Airlines and partner airlines flights.
^ Applies for paid travel on an eligible flight with a Qantas (QF) flight number on the itinerary.
+ Store products are for delivery in Australia and New Zealand only (and different products are available in each delivery location). Redemption of points for items through the online store is subject to terms and conditions (including the Store Terms of Use and voucher terms and conditions). The Qantas Frequent Flyer Store is operated by Carlson Marketing Group (Aust) Pty Ltd ABN 96 003 848 922 trading as Carlson Leisure Travel Service.
# Points Plus Pay allows you to choose the number of points you redeem, above a specified minimum level, and pay an amount on your credit card to obtain your Award. A minimum number of points must be redeemed for any points Plus Pay option. The minimum will vary depending on the Award.
~ Qantas and Jetstar Any Seat Awards are available on any flight with a QF or JQ flight number. The points required for Qantas and Jetstar Any Seat Awards are variable and are only valid when quoted. There is no fixed relationship between the cash price charged by the applicable airline for a seat and the points required to redeem an Any Seat Award through Qantas Frequent Flyer. Not all special promotional fares are available as Any Seat Awards. Classic Award seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Some flights may not have any Classic Award seats available. Award flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advance booking requirements may apply).
** Flight upgrades are only available on Qantas operated flights with a Qantas flight number on your ticket, are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Flight upgrades are not available on Award Flights or heavily discounted domestic and international airfares booked in E, N, O, P, Q, U, X, or Z class , which includes some Red e-Deals.
^^ You must be an Everyday Rewards member and a Qantas Frequent Flyer member and have linked your memberships to earn points. Everyday Rewards membership is subject to the Everyday Rewards terms and conditions. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions. Offer excludes selected purchases including smoking/tobacco products, gift cards and other specified services. To earn points you must spend $30 in one transaction at Woolworths and Safeway Supermarkets and Liquor in Australia (excluding Tasmania) and then you can earn 1 point for every dollar you spend over $30 for that transaction. You must present your Everyday Rewards card. You cannot earn points by presenting your Qantas Frequent Flyer card or quoting your Qantas Frequent Flyer number. Points may take up to three weeks to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. Other terms and conditions apply.
