About the Program

The Basics
Growing your points balance
You can earn points when you fly, and earn on the ground as well, with a wide range of over 450 partners. Once you've earned enough points, you have over 3,000 ways to use them at our online store, or you can use them for flights and seat upgrades.
Membership from Bronze to Platinum
You start out as a Bronze Frequent Flyer. The more you fly, the higher your status, from Silver through Gold to Platinum. Higher status brings extra benefits like more points when you fly, priority check-in and Qantas Club membership.

It's easier than you think to grow your points balance. Here are three ways you can earn points:
- Fly with Qantas and our partner airlines.
- Use a Direct Earn credit or charge card.
- Shop with our partners.

Fly with Qantas and our partner airlines
Earn points on eligible flights and fares with Qantas and over 30 partner airlines and their affiliates (but please note that fare type and rate restrictions apply to the earning of points and Status credits on Jetstar, certain oneworld Alliance airlines and partner airline flights).* You can also earn more when you fly in Premium Economy, Business and First.
To make sure you're well rewarded when you fly Qantas, you're guaranteed to earn at least 1,000 points on even the shortest Qantas flight (applies for paid travel on an eligible flight with a Qantas (QF) flight number on the itinerary, except where operated by Jetstar).^
Use a Direct Earn Credit or Charge Card
Use a card that lets you earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points on your everyday spending and watch your points balance grow every month. It's a great way to earn points without flying!

Use a Direct Earn credit or charge card to shop with any one of our other partners and you can earn points twice: once with your card and once with the other partner.
Shop with our Partners
We have a wide range of over 450 partners that we're always adding to, giving you plenty of ways to earn points every day. Earn on your everyday shopping at participating Woolworths Supermarkets and when you dine at over 200 restaurants, bars and cafes. Earn with credit cards, hotel stays, car rentals, car sales and services, travel, mobile and broadband, entertainment, finance, business, real estate, the list goes on.

Once you have enough points, we offer more ways than ever to use them.

If you're short of the points you need, you can often still get the reward you want. You can use Points Plus Pay at our online store.# Or buy top-up points to boost your balance. You can also share points with an eligible family member.

Qantas & Partner Classic Awards
Use your points for a Classic Award to any of 50 destinations around Australia and 625 destinations around the world.

Qantas and Jetstar Any Seat Awards
Use your points for any seat on any Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ) flight as long as there is a seat available for sale. The fare includes taxes, fees and carrier charges. Use just points or you can use Points Plus Pay for most Any Seat Awards.~

Qantas Frequent Flyer Store
You have over 3,000 ways to use your points at our online store. From cookware to iPods, TVs to toys, sportsgear to vouchers from leading retailers, the list goes on. If you're short of the points you need, you can use Points Plus Pay for selected items (excluding vouchers).+

Every month, you'll find special offers and discounts in the Store that make it extra rewarding to shop with your points.
Auto Rewards
Now you can redeem your Qantas Frequent Flyer points for a Woolworths Gift Card by setting up Auto Rewards. Then every three months, you'll automatically receive a gift card in the mail, up to the value of $20. At the end of each three-month period, your points balance determines which gift card we put in the post.
Member Benefits
Extra Benefits
So that you can be rewarded as much as possible, we offer you more privileges the more you fly. By moving up through Silver, Gold and Platinum membership, you can enjoy all kinds of extra benefits. These benefits include:
- extra points when you fly (bonus points),
- priority check-in and preferred seating,
- extra baggage allowance on Qantas and Emirates flights*,
- complimentary admission to The Qantas Club, and
- complimentary access to oneworld® alliance and Emirates lounges.

How to get the best Award seat deal
Qantas Frequent Flyer Classic Award or Any Seat Award? If you're planning a trip, it's worth checking both. Classic Awards are offered at a fixed points level, while the points needed for Any Seat Awards vary from day to day. Any Seat Awards also include applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges, while Classic Awards don't. (Though you can use extra points to cover these charges for Australia and New Zealand domestic Classic Awards.)~

+ Store products are for delivery in Australia and New Zealand only (and different products are available in each delivery location). Redemption of points for items through the online store is subject to terms and conditions (including the Store Terms of Use and voucher terms and conditions).
# Points Plus Pay allows you to choose the number of points you redeem, above a specified minimum level, and pay an amount on your credit card to obtain your Award. A minimum number of points must be redeemed for any points Plus Pay option. The minimum will vary depending on the Award.
~ Qantas and Jetstar Any Seat Awards are available on any flight with a QF or JQ flight number. The points required for Qantas and Jetstar Any Seat Awards are variable and are only valid when quoted. There is no fixed relationship between the cash price charged by the applicable airline for a seat and the points required to redeem an Any Seat Award through Qantas Frequent Flyer. Not all special promotional fares are available as Any Seat Awards. Classic Award seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Some flights may not have any Classic Award seats available. Award flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advance booking requirements may apply).
