Status credits determine your membership level. Every time you fly on an eligible flight, we add Status credits to your account.*
As soon as you have flown enough to qualify for Silver membership, you will automatically receive extra privileges.^

- One extra piece of baggage on Qantas domestic flights and an extra baggage allowance on Qantas international flights.** From 1 December 2008, Qantas is introducing a new checked baggage allowance. The new allowances will apply to any tickets purchased from 1 December for travel from 1 March 2009 inclusive.

* You can only earn Status credits when flying on eligible Qantas, oneworld Alliance Airlines (American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, JAL (Japan Airlines), LAN, Malév Hungarian Airlines and Royal Jordanian), Air Pacific, Jetstar or QantasLink services. Status credits can be earned on flights operated by Jetstar where a Qantas flight number is entered on your ticket when booked in Y, B, H, K or W class, or on a Jetflex fare.
