Last chance to register your interest in the new Qantas Card and Qantas CashTM

We've had so much interest in the exciting new Qantas Card and Qantas CashTM that we've decided to extend the registration of interest deadline by another week to 19 May 2013.
As announced earlier this year, the new Qantas Card will carry an innovative payment technology called Qantas CashTM. Qantas Cash will give members the opportunity to earn points when spending their own money on the card at home, online and overseas. Qantas Cash will only be activated once a member applies and is approved.
Take advantage of this final opportunity to be among the first to receive the new card when it becomes available later this year by registering your interest below before 19 May 2013.
A limited number of cards will be available in the initial months, so register now and get ready to enjoy even more rewards.
More about Qantas Cash
The new-look membership card that we will be introducing will be enhanced with technology we've called Qantas Cash. Qantas Cash will allow eligible Australia-based members to pre-load money onto their card to spend both in Australia and overseas. It will also give members the opportunity to earn points on eligible purchases when spending their own money.
The new card will also act as a multi-currency travel card, which we hope will make travel more convenient for our members. By partnering with MasterCard® that means you can use the card wherever MasterCard is accepted - at over 35 million locations in over 210 countries worldwide.
For everyday use in Australia, Qantas Cash will be a great alternative to carrying money. For purchases under $100, you can pay faster with MasterCard PayPassTM where available. It can also be used to shop online - and when buying from overseas, payment can be made in international currency.
Whichever way a member chooses to use the card, they will have the peace of mind knowing it is chip, PIN and signature secured.
Faster, Smarter Check-in for everyone
The all new cards will be Q Chip enabled too, which means holders of the new card will be able to access our Faster, Smarter Check-in at the airport.
When will the new card be available?
Qantas Cash will be available later this year. Full features and benefits of Qantas Cash will be revealed and made available on qantas.com in the coming months. In the meantime, make sure to register before 19 May to be amongst the first to receive the card when it is available. Notifications will be sent by email, so be sure to keep your details up to date.
How do members get the new card?
All eligible Australia-based Qantas Frequent Flyer members will be given the opportunity to receive a new card with Qantas Cash technology and Q chip enabled.
If you're a Qantas Frequent Flyer, keep your contact details up to date and subscribe to Frequent Flyer Exclusives emails so that we can let you know when the new card will be available.
