The new Qantas Frequent Flyer membership card
Introducing the next generation of the Qantas Frequent Flyer membership card.
The new-look membership card has been enhanced with technology we've called Qantas CashTM. Qantas Cash allows Australia-based members to load money onto their facility to spend both in Australia and overseas and gives members the opportunity to earn points on eligible purchases when spending their own money.
The new card will also act as a multi-currency travel card, making travel more convenient for our members. By partnering with MasterCard® that means you can use the card wherever MasterCard is accepted - at over 35 million locations in over 210 countries worldwide.
For everyday use in Australia, Qantas Cash will be a great alternative to carrying money. For purchases under $100, you can pay faster with MasterCard PayPassTM where available. It can also be used to shop online - and when buying from overseas, payment can be made in international currency.
Whichever way you choose to use the card, they will have the peace of mind knowing it is chip, PIN and signature secured.
Faster, Smarter Check-in for everyone
All new cards will be Q Chip enabled too, allowing access to our Faster, Smarter Check-in making your experience through the terminal a breeze.
The new Qantas card is just one of the ways we're working to make the program more rewarding for our members.
Please note - If you are a Bronze or Silver Qantas Club member, you'll continue to use your Qantas Club card to access all the benefits of your Qantas Club membership, including entry to Qantas Lounges across Australia and around the world.
When will the new card be available?
Qantas Cash is now available. If you haven't received your card and you are an eligible Australian resident, don't worry it is on its way. Due to the fact we are sending out millions of cards, you may not receive your card until January 2014.
