This table does not apply to any Award Trip which includes one or more flights with a British Airways (BA) flight number between any city pairings not listed above (see Partner Classic Award table for those Award Trips).
^ Premium Economy is available on selected Qantas flights. Premium Economy includes British Airways World Traveller Plus.
+ StarClass is available on all Jetstar services operated by the Airbus A330. There are product and service differences between Qantas Business and Jetstar StarClass.
Qantas Classic Awards (domestic Australia) including surcharges, fees and taxes
Use points for a Classic Award on domestic flights within Australia operated by Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar and domestic flights within New Zealand operated by Jetstar when booked online.
When booking a Classic Award, points required for surcharges, fees and taxes are currently calculated at 3,000 points per segment. The total number of points required will include the points required for the Qantas Classic Award flight, based on the Qantas Classic Award Table, plus the points required for surcharges, fees and taxes.
For example:
- Brisbane to Sydney: 8,000 points for the Qantas Classic Award plus 3,000 points for surcharges, fees and taxes.
- Sydney to Perth transfer via Melbourne: 18,000 points for the Qantas Classic Award plus 6,000 points for surcharges, fees and taxes.
Assisted Award booking fee is not included. If a mixed class itinerary is booked, the higher point charge will apply to the whole booking.
Partner Classic Award table
Points required for Partner Classic Awards with Aer Lingus, Air Niugini, Alaska Airlines, Alitalia, British Airways,~ Cathay Pacific Airways, Dragon Air,** El Al, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Jet Airways, LAN, Malév Hungarian Airlines, Mexicana, Royal Jordanian, SAS and South African Airways.
The Assisted Award booking fee may apply.

oneworld Classic Award table
The oneworld® Award Classic Award table is based on return flights, unlike the Qantas Award table.
This oneworld Classic Award table only applies when your Award itinerary includes at least two oneworld alliance airlines other than Qantas. The itinerary may not contain non-oneworld airlines otherwise the travel planner of each individual airline will apply. Qantas flights operated by Jetstar Airways (QF5000-QF5999) cannot be included in oneworld Awards.
