The Qantas Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Channel allows you to view our worldwide timetable, contact information and Qantas Club locations, no matter where you are in the world!
The channel is downloaded from Avantgo and flights are updated weekly. You can select from 7 different timetables each designed to suit your PDA memory size and travel needs.

Timetable Options
There are 7 different timetables designed to suit your needs. From your PDA select your preferred timetable and if prompted your preferred cities. Your selected timetable will be available next time you sync.
1. Qantas Selection - Default
This timetable includes flights between Qantas' most popular cities on the international and domestic network. This channel is downloaded when you first select the Qantas PDA channel.

This option is ideal if you need to limit the size of the timetable and travel between major cities.
Note: Estimated maximum channel size is 120KB.
2. Display Flights Between Multiple Cities
Timetable contains direct flights between your chosen cities.
You can choose up to 5 cities, (minimum 2 cities) anywhere on the Qantas network.
This option is ideal if you wish to limit the download size of the Qantas timetable and you travel regularly between few cities.
For example if you select departure cities Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart:

If the city you have selected is not serviced by a direct Qantas flight your option will be displayed as "not available". Please note, there may be scheduled connections between these cities and you should refer to the online timetable for details regarding connecting flights.
Note: Estimated maximum channel size is 90KB.
3. Display Flights from/to your Home City
This option provides a timetable for all flights departing from and returning into your home city. You may choose up to 3 home cities on the Qantas network.
This option is ideal if you depart regularly from a handful of cities.
For example if you selected Sydney and Brisbane:

Estimated maximum channel size is 285KB.
4. Australian Domestic Timetable
Included are Qantas operated and codeshare flights on the QantasLink and Australian domestic network.
Ideal if you travel regularly on the Qantas domestic network including QantasLink, and your PDA memory will facilitate a sizeable channel.
Note: Estimated maximum channel size is 330KB.
5. International Timetable
Included are all flights on the Qantas international network, including New Zealand domestic.
This option is ideal if you travel between a large range of cities on the Qantas international network or travel domestically within New Zealand.
Note: Estimated maximum channel size is 280KB.
6. World Wide Timetable
Included are Qantas international, Australian domestic and QantasLink networks.
This option is ideal if you travel between a large range of cities on the entire Qantas network.
Note: Estimated maximum channel size is 540KB.
7. No Timetable
This option allows you to download Qantas contact numbers and Qantas Club locations only.
Note: Estimated maximum channel size is 55KB.
Timetable Information
- The Qantas Timetable is updated each Sunday evening (AEST).
- The Timetable is applicable for the next month of operation.
- Included are all direct flights. A direct flight is a flight that has one flight number between two cities. Travel options which feature connections maybe be available between two cities however are not represented on the PDA timetable. Refer to online timetables for connections.
- Timetable includes Qantas operated and codeshare flights
- Qantas network includes all QantasLink and Australian domestic and international services
- For Qantas domestic, international and world wide Timetables you must have sufficient memory to support a file which is over 330Kb. You must set your Avantgo preferences to accept a file of this size
Changing Your Timetable Selection
- If you wish to change the type of timetable you have downloaded, you need to do so from your PDA. From the Qantas channel, tap 'timetable options'. Then, select your preferred timetable and submit.
- The next time you sync your PDA you will receive your new selection.
