Qantas Freight operates a fleet of three Boeing 747-400F freighters. Offering main-deck capacity and side and nose loading. The aircraft operate a mix of scheduled and charter services to supplement capacity to key import and export destinations around the world.
Qantas Freight's current freighter schedule includes seven weekly services from Australia into China, five weekly services from China to the United States; four direct weekly services from the US into Australia; and one weekly service from each Auckland, Hong Kong, Europe and Shanghai into Australia. The network includes the cities of Auckland, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Chicago, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Melbourne, New York, Shanghai, Sydney and Toledo.
All Qantas freighter aircraft are available for charter services. Charter movements typically consist of large volumes of single commodities or special event shipments, such as livestock, stage equipment and artworks. Special event movements are also often carried on single or multiple scheduled services.
