The oneworld Alliance airlines provide more than 500 airport departure lounges across the globe.
At many lounges, you can enjoy refreshments, telephones and computer facilities. At some locations there are showers, a wider range of business services and meeting facilities. Access is subject to eligibility requirements.
The ten oneworld member airlines work together to provide you with a range of products which make global travel easier and more rewarding. Whether travelling for business or leisure, we are confident you will find the right product for your regional adventure or around-the-world journey.
Because of the huge choice of routeing possibilities, bookings for most of them cannot currently be made online. Contact your local Qantas office or oneworld member airline to make a booking.
The oneworld Explorer fare is one of the most popular, simple, flexible and inexpensive round-the-world fares available on the market. Prices are based on class of travel and, uniquely, the number of continents visited rather than mileage of the overall trip. This keeps planning as simple as possible. A useful 'itinerary planner' tool to help plan Explorer round-the-world journeys can be downloaded from oneworld.com.
Another round-the-world fare, but also including some airlines which are not part of oneworld, the Global Explorer fare extends the choice of destinations further. Unlike oneworld Explorer, the cost of a ticket is based on the total distance flown, rather than the number of continents visited.
Visit Passes offer multi-sector flights on any combination of oneworld carriers within a specific continent and are an inexpensive way to travel around a region. oneworld is the only alliance to offer this sort of pass covering all six continents. Prices are based on the number of sectors selected and the length of each sector.
Similar to oneworld Explorer, the Circle Explorer fare does not require travel to North or South America. You can fly halfway around the globe and then back again, without actually circumnavigating the planet (for example, London - Hong Kong - Sydney - Johannesburg - London).
Another Explorer variant, the Circle Pacific fare is for trips around the Pacific Ocean, covering Australia, New Zealand, Asia and North and South America.
The oneworld Circle Asia and South West Pacific fare makes it simple to plan an intercontinental "grand tour". This fare offers great value and flexibility for multi-continent journeys circling this part of the world. This is an ideal option if your travel originates and terminates in Asia or South West Pacific. Fares are based on the total mileage of the journey and the class of travel.
