Check in online in five easy steps before you leave home so you can save time at the airport and request your seat.
Online Check-in is available for all Qantas and QantasLink domestic and international flights:*
- Domestic - between 24 hours and 1 hour before your flight departure.
- International - between 24 hours and 2 hours before your flight departure.
How it works:
- Go to Manage Your Booking
- Enter your booking reference and last name then click 'Go'
- Click on the 'Online Check-in' button
- Then follow the five easy steps. Don't forget to print your boarding passes to take with you to the airport.
Travel with flexibility
For domestic flights, if you check in online and your travel plans change, you can use the QuickCheck self check-in kiosks at the airport to:
- change to an earlier flight,+
- change your seat selection, and
- Qantas Frequent Flyers can request an upgrade with points.
If you have a return trip on the same day you can check in online for both flights at the same time when your return trip is within 12 hours and on the same day as your flight out.
At the airport:
Domestic
- Travelling with carry-on baggage only -go directly to the gate for your flight.
- Travelling with checked baggage - go to a dedicated Online Bag Drop counter available at major airports.
International
- Travel with carry-on or checked baggage - go directly to a dedicated Online Check-in counter (where available).
* Online Check-in is not available for codeshare or Jetstar services.
