On-Time Performance

Qantas understands the importance of getting you to your chosen destination on-time, everytime. We strive to operate every flight and meet every arrival time shown in our published schedule, and do so without compromising safety.

Qantas uses the computerised Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS), to record on-time performance data, a much more accurate and reliable process than the manual systems used by other airlines.

In accordance with industry standards, an 'on-time' arrival is one that arrives at the designated gate no more than 15 minutes beyond the scheduled arrival time. Our on-time performance statistics are published by the Australian Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics.

On-time arrival statistics shown on this website measure Qantas Domestic and QantasLink regional flights.
