Important Information

Barcaldine Airport will be closed from 4 May to 5 September 2008 due to runway works. The closest airport to Barcaldine is Longreach, located approximately 100km away.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, a return bus service between Barcaldine and Longreach will be provided by the Barcaldine Regional Council, free of charge, until the runway works are completed. For bookings and more information, contact the Council on 07 4651 5600.

If you are connecting to an International flight, check the latest carry on baggage restrictions.

Location:	1km (0.6 mile) from town centre on Gidyea Street, Balcaldine.
Qantas flights:	Qantas flights QF400 and above operate from this terminal.
Departure information:	Ticket Counter There are no ticketing facilities available at the airport. Check-in Check-in is open from 1pm to 2pm Tuesday and Thursday, and from 8am to 9am Saturday. Online Check-in is now available for Qantas and QantasLink Australian domestic bookings between 24 hours and 1 hour before your flight departure.
Arrival information:	Baggage can be collected after arrival from the baggage trolley. Baggage Services has a counter available at check-in.
