Effective 11 June 2008, Qantas check-in has moved from terminal 2A and relocated to terminal 2B within the Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

Due to local security restrictions passengers are not permitted to enter the airport terminal without proof of travel.

For Qantas flights an e-ticket itinerary or a paper ticket must be produced.

All Qantas customers arriving from Australia must clear customs and immigration in Mumbai.

Location: 30km (19 miles) from the city in Sahar.
Qantas flights: Qantas and oneworld carriers British Airways and Cathay Pacific operate from the International Terminal, terminal 2B.

There are no Qantas ticketing facilities available at the airport. Contact the local Qantas office for assistance.
Check-in
Check-in counters are located on the Departures Level and are open 4 hours before departure to 1 hour before departure.
Passengers should enter the terminal through Gate C.
Transfer between Terminals: The AAI transfer bus offers free travel between terminals.
Arrival information:
Baggage carousels are located in the Arrivals Hall.
Information monitors display baggage carousel numbers for your flight. Baggage Services is handled by Cambata.
Open daily from 9am to 5.30pm.
Qantas Club:
The Oberoi Clipper Lounge is located on the Departures level 2B and 2A.
Opens 4 hours before flight departure.

Getting to and from the Airport

Transport Details
Car The airport is approximately a 90 minute drive from the city during non-peak times. Car parking is available at a cost of INR20 per hour.
Taxis Pre-paid and metered taxi's are available. Approximately INR410 plus INR10 per bag for an airconditioned taxi to the city.
Buses The local bus company Best Buses operate an hourly bus service to Mumbai city. The bus stop is located outside the terminal.
Fares start at INR50.
Car rentals Car hire companies are operated by private agencies and are located in the Arrivals hall.

Baggage Trolleys Located in the Departures and Arrivals halls.
