Departure information:	Ticket Counter Domestic ticketing facilities are available only. Opens 1 hour before flight departures. Check-in Check-in opens from 1 hour before flight departures. Online Check-in is now available for Qantas and QantasLink Australian domestic bookings between 24 hours and 1 hour before your flight departure.

Car	The airport is approximately a 8 minute drive from Horn Island Village. Car parking is free of charge.
Bus and Ferry	Rebel Marine and McDonald Charter Boats operate bus and ferry transfers between Horn Island Airport and Thursday Island. Travel time is approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
