A $9 million redevelopment and expansion of the joint Qantas/British Airways Business lounge in Singapore was completed in December 2004 by the Australian-based architectural and interior design firm, Woods Bagot.

With a fresh, new, innovative design featuring contemporary and stylish furniture and fittings, the lounge is nearly three times larger with a seating capacity for 400.

Features of the lounge

• A variety of seating zones to allow you to select a space that suits your mood and needs.
• New luxury bathrooms facilities.
• 20 private shower suites with a paging system to let you know when they are available.
• Increased business facilities, which includes 6 private workstations, 18 high speed internet PCs, printing, photocopying, phone and fax facilities.
• Power and data ports are located throughout the lounge to allow you to plug in your laptops or recharge mobile phones.
• New Entertainment zones featuring large television screens.
• A selection of magazines and newspapers.
• New buffet and menu offering complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
• A new cocktail bar where you can socialise.
