You are welcome to invite family, friends or colleagues to join you in the lounge.
If you're flying domestically on Qantas, QantasLink or Jetstar within Australia, and on Jetstar within New Zealand*, you may bring one guest to join you in a Qantas Club lounge. Platinum Frequent Flyers are welcome to invite two guests. Your guests do not need to be travelling.
When visiting an international Qantas Club lounge, you are able to invite one guest each time you visit. Both you and your guest need to be travelling together further that day on a Qantas or British Airways flight. Platinum Frequent Flyers and their guest are welcome in the lounge, even when not travelling on Qantas or British Airways.
Our lounges are places where our members can relax and unwind or keep on working. We ask that children, including Platinum or Gold Frequent Flyers, under the age of 18 years, are accompanied by an adult and that they are closely supervised.
Children may be asked to leave if their behaviour is disruptive. We also ask that children do not enter the Business Centre areas or operate any equipment in the lounges or Business Centres. In Qantas Club lounges, children are not counted as guests if aged three and under. Children are usually welcome in our partner lounges.
As a Qantas Club member, you also have complimentary membership of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.*
You may use your Frequent Flyer points to upgrade one class on domestic flights within Australia (where a seat is available) from Discount Economy (excluding airfares booked in N, O or Q class) to Business, or from Full Economy to Business.

On Departure Upgrades can be arranged for you or any eligible family member# 'on departure' at domestic Australian Qantas Club lounges subject to these conditions:
For more information, ask at The Qantas Club Service Desk.
Our Qantas Club priority reservations service ensures you always get our most experienced operators and the most efficient service when booking a Qantas flight. Members are given priority on fully booked Qantas flights when travelling on a paid ticket and where waitlisting is possible. Please note, that waitlisting is not available on most discounted Economy airfares.
To help avoid queues, members may use The Qantas Club priority check-in areas available at most airports. If there is no dedicated Qantas Club check-in, you may check in at the Business counter before any Qantas flight, regardless of your fare class. You must be travelling on a Qantas operated service with a Qantas flight number. If only carrying hand luggage, and travelling on a Qantas* or Jetstar marketed and operated flight, you can also check in at most major domestic Australian or New Zealand Qantas Club lounges.
Note: Lounge check-in for Jetstar is 40 minutes before departure. If you arrive within 40 minutes of scheduled departure, go directly to the Jetstar check-in counter. You need to check-in for Jetstar flights at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure otherwise your ticket will be forfeited. No refund or free transfer is available. You will be required to book and pay for a new ticket if you wish to travel.
If you have carry-on baggage only you can use our QuickCheck Kiosks. Simply locate the QuickCheck Kiosks inside the lounge, check-in and collect your boarding pass. QuickCheck Kiosks are available in Qantas Club domestic lounges in Sydney,+ Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra.
Your baggage will be Priority or Business* tagged when you travel on Australian domestic flights marketed and operated by Qantas or QantasLink.^
As a Qantas Club member you also receive an additional baggage allowance when flying on a Qantas marketed and operated flight.^ On Qantas international flights, an extra 10kg (exception: 1 extra piece on flights to the USA).# Keep in mind that size and weight limits still apply for baggage on all flights.+
In most lounges, you're kept up to date with all flight details via conveniently located monitors. A final boarding call* is also made from reception.
By completing your Personal Travel Profile when you join The Qantas Club, you will help us provide you with our most personalised service. Every time you travel with Qantas we will know your seating preferences, special requirements and any other travel preferences you may have.
When you quote your membership number, our Reservations staff will be able to access your record and accommodate your travel requirements wherever possible, on Qantas operated and marketed flights. You can update or amend your Personal Travel Profile online at any time.
Make yourself comfortable with these benefits of Qantas Club membership.
Self-serve hot coffee and tea, juices and snacks are available. A complimentary bar service also operates around the clock in international lounges, and from mid-afternoon in our domestic Australian and New Zealand lounges.*
Keep up to date with the latest newspapers, current business or fashion magazines. Or enjoy television programs in dedicated viewing areas.
There are shower facilities, including hair dryers and toiletries, available in most Australian, New Zealand and overseas Qantas Club lounges.^ See Lounge Locations for further details of facilities.
