In addition to, and complementing our domestic Qantas Club facilities, Qantas is proud to introduce a new domestic Business Lounge experience now open in Sydney T3, Brisbane, Melbourne and Canberra domestic terminals.
Qantas Business Lounges offer Business Class customers, Platinum Frequent Flyers and oneworld Emerald guests a new sanctuary in which to work, relax, socialise or prepare for your flight. Business Lounges feature shower amenities, social and entertainment facilities, a signature hot food offering and a barista service, and business facilities including complimentary wireless internet and private work suites.
New to Sydney T3, Melbourne and Brisbane domestic terminals, stand alone Qantas Meeting Rooms offer a convenient venue to host meetings at the airport.
The Qantas Meeting Rooms cater for up to 20 guests and are fully licensed with multiple catering options, meeting facilities including free wireless Internet, a break-out area, plasma presentation screens, teleconferencing, as well as photocopying, faxing and scanning services.
Qantas Meeting Rooms are available to all customers, as you do not have to be travelling to make a booking.
Terminal 4 Lounges:
Due to the relocation of British Airways flights to the new London Heathrow Terminal 5 and extensive terminal renovations British Airways Terminal 4 lounges including First Lounge, Gate 10 Terraces Lounge, Concorde Lounges remain closed.
All eligible oneworld customers, Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers, Qantas Club Members and customers travelling in First and Business Class are invited to use the British Airways Lounge at Gate 1. Due to space restrictions members' guests may not be accommodated in this lounge.
British Airways Arrivals Lounge in Terminal 4:
The British Airways Arrivals Lounge in Terminal 4 remains closed due to the relocation of British Airways operations to T5 and the BAA upgrade at T4. At this time an alternate arrivals lounge is unavailable for eligible customers travelling on Qantas.
Qantas move to Terminal 3:
From late 2009, Qantas will move it's operations to T3 and eligible customers will be invited to use the full complement of newly developed British Airways Galleries Lounges.
In many of our QantasLink ports we are upgrading our lounges, commencing with Karratha, Port Hedland, Rockhampton, Mackay (to be completed during October), followed at a later date by Launceston, Broome and Kalgoorlie. The lounge upgrades include a new design palette featuring contemporary designed seating and carpet plus plasma TV's offering cable and free to air channels.
On 1 August 2008, the Gold Coast Qantas lounge closed.
Qantas officially ceased services to the Gold Coast on 1 August 2008, with the last service operating between Sydney and the Gold Coast on 31 July.
From 11 June 2008, Qantas check-in at Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport changed to Terminal 2B from Terminal 2A.
Eligible* passengers will have access to a temporary Oberoi lounge located within Terminal 2B. Light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages are available. Alternatively, the current Oberoi Clipper lounge in Terminal 2A and the Celebrations lounge in Terminal 2C are also available for use. These lounges are a short walk from Terminal 2B immigration and offer refreshments including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and Wi-Fi access.
A new Oberoi lounge is planned for Terminal 2B and is due to open late August 2008.
The co-branded Qantas and Air Pacific Lounge at Nadi International Airport is now solely operated by Air Pacific. Access to the lounge is available to Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers and Business Class customers travelling on QF/FJ codeshare flights (only). Qantas Club Members travelling in Business Class also enjoy lounge access before their flight.
Due to lounge refurbishment works, the Air Pacific Tabua Lounge in Nadi will be closed from 14 November and due for completion late January 2009. Eligible Qantas customers including Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyers and customers travelling in Business Class on QF/FJ codeshare flights will be invited to use temporary lounges located near the current Tabua Lounge.
Qantas is developing a new domestic Qantas Club lounge at Cairns Airport.
From 1 August 2007, eligible customers have been invited to use an interim lounge located next to Gate 16 in the domestic terminal. The interim lounge offers business facilities, lounge seating, plasma-screen TVs and complimentary light snacks and refreshments.
The new lounge is due to open towards the end of 2009 when construction at Cairns airport is complete.
The Qantas International Lounge will be effectively closed for business from Tuesday 24 February 2009. The Qantas Domestic Lounge will continue to provide normal day-to-day operations.
Due to Qantas ceasing international services to and from Cairns in December 2008, the Qantas International Business Lounge will be closed for business from Tuesday 24 February 2009. The Qantas Domestic Lounge in Cairns will continue to provide normal day-to-day operations for eligible customers travelling on domestic flights.
Members with access to The Qantas Club can now enjoy a new lounge experience in Los Angeles. Qantas, in partnership with Cathay Pacific and British Airways, have developed new First and Business lounges in the Tom Bradley International terminal. The new lounges offer more space, more seating, luxury shower suites and enhanced business facilities.
The Baobab Lounge is undergoing renovations and is due for completion in late May 2009. All eligible customers departing on QF304 to Perth will be invited to use the temporary South African Airways lounge located on the upper level of main departure lounge, at the southern end next to the Premier Lounge.
The British Airways Galleries Lounge located on the Upper level of Main departure lounge at the Northern end near Carol Boyes Duty Free will be made available for all eligible customers departing on QF64 to Sydney. The oneworld access policy applies for emerald and sapphire oneworld members when using the British Airways lounge.
