Our ergonomically designed slimline seats* have been installed to give you greater comfort. The seats feature in-built lumbar support and manually adjustable headrest 'wings' for extra head and neck support.

On our fleet of B747-400 aircraft, you can look forward to a refreshed cabin environment with bright, new seat fabrics, large blankets and soft pillows to ease you into your journey.

Inflight Cuisine

Be tempted by our inviting menu. Choose from our complimentary dishes such as Chicken Provencal with Pesto Risoni or Japanese Soy Beef served with fresh garden salad. There's also cheese and crackers, and an ice cream to enjoy with your movie.^ Plus, on most flights you'll be able to enjoy warm bread rolls fresh from the oven.

To complement your meal you can choose from a range of specially selected premium wines from some of Australia's top winemakers including Richmond Grove, Jacob's Creek, Wyndham Estate, Penfolds, Lindemans and Wolf Blass.

On a wide range of flights you'll find a continental breakfast option is offered as a light alternative to a hot breakfast. It includes fresh fruit salad, pastries, cereal and yoghurt.

Our beverage menu includes 100% Australian-grown Nerada tea and Bundaberg Ginger Beer. Plus we've increased the selection of beverages to suit your tastes with Cranberry juice on US flights and Oolong Tea on Japan flights. Also available on select flights will be organic chamomile tea and Cadbury's hot chocolate to help you relax and unwind.

Healthier meal choices

'Tick' approved meals are available on all International Economy Lunch, Dinner and Supper services departing from Australia.

Qantas is the first airline in the world to have the Heart Foundation's third party accreditation for healthier choice meal options. We have introduced this program to assist customers make healthier meal choices quickly and easily.

All tick approved meals have been independently tested to meet strict standards for serve size, saturated fat, salt and vegetable or fibre content.

Trans-Tasman Services

Between Australia and New Zealand, we offer an international style of service and product, which includes:

• Printed menus.
• Contemporary meal trays, wine glasses, glass salad bowls, napkins and stainless steel cutlery.
• Pre-meal bar for lunch and dinner services (time permitting).
• Additional meal choices. For breakfast a choice of hot or continental. For lunch and dinner a choice of two hot meals.
• Refreshing mints before landing.

Amenities and Activity Packs

Your amenity kit^# comes in a handy passport sized pouch with strap and will make a welcome addition to any traveller's accessories.

Kids kits include items to help keep younger travellers entertained for hours. On domestic flights Mr Men kids kit (3-11 years) are available. The Australia Zoo kids kit (3-6 years) and Surf’s Up kids kit (7-11 years) are available on international flights.

Entertainment

Sit back and be entertained. Our state-of-the-art entertainment system on all of our B747-400 and A330-300 aircraft features:

• Personal headsets,
• On-demand control, which allows you to start, pause, fast forward, or stop any of our 400 AVOD program choices whenever you like. Choices include 60 movies, 200 TV programs (including destination guides), 20 Radio Q channels, 150 CDs, Moving Map and 10 interactive games,
• Personal telephone in every seat,^~ and
• Reply text messaging in every seat.^~

B747-300 flights offer broadcast video and audio entertainment with 12 channels of video entertainment, 16 audio channels and 15 interactive games, some with multi-player capability.

B767-300 flights offer main-screen entertainment with broadcast video and 12 audio channels.
