Dedicated Check-in
As a First customer you have the freedom to check in up to 60 minutes before your flight departure time at the dedicated First check-in counter. You are then invited to relax in the First or Business lounge before your flight.
At the gate, a dedicated boarding lane for international flights allows you to avoid the general queue, so you can board with ease at any stage of the boarding process.
Baggage Allowance
Your baggage travels with priority baggage tags to ensure it is among the first off the aircraft.
Generous First baggage allowances give you plenty of room.
Additional checked baggage allowances are available for members of The Qantas Club and some Qantas Frequent Flyers.
The Qantas Club
As a First customer, before your flight, you are invited to access any Qantas First or Business lounge. Where a Qantas lounge is not available you can also access the lounges operated by a oneworld® airline. The oneworld airlines are Qantas, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malev Hungarian Airlines and Royal Jordanian.
We offer dedicated international First lounges in Auckland, Bangkok, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney. At other Qantas international ports, you'll be welcome to use either a Qantas Club lounge or an associated lounge.
Your Sleeper Seat
Enjoy peaceful rest onboard as you stretch out in our sleeper beds. Controls at the end of your armrest move your seat, leg rest and lumbar positioning from a relaxed reading position to completely reclined on your 198cm (6ft 6in) bed.
Even in a sleeping position, the width between the armrests is 54.6cm (21.5in) so there is plenty of room between you and your neighbours. Then relax with your cosy duvet, soft lambs wool blanket and oversized linen pillow and enjoy the best flights sleep you ever had.
You will also receive complimentary Akira Isogawa designed slippers, eyeshades and soft luxurious pyjamas.
Inflight Cuisine
Rockpool and Qantas have taken inflight dining to new heights in First. Enjoy our unique restaurant style dining experience with a caviar service added to the menu, and the opportunity to indulge in an 8-course tasting menu.*
All meals are made onboard and made to order with the freshest ingredients.
Delicious canapes are served before the meal service followed by a choice of two entrees. Choose from four sumptuous main meals set to tempt your palate.
Snacks or light meals are available at any time during your flight, and you can choose from a wide selection of prestige wines, spirits and beers.
Enjoy a freshly made cafe latte or espresso at any time. Our coffee onboard is supplied by Grinders Coffee, who have developed a blend exclusively for Qantas.

Sit back and be entertained. Our state-of-the-art entertainment system features:

Amenities
Akira Isogawa and Collette Dinnigan have consulted with Qantas to design our new First Amenities Collection. Collette Dinnigan has designed a stunning silk purse for the female kit, and Akira Isogawa, a functional case for the male kit.
Both kits contain a selection of hydrating skincare products from the leading French skincare range, Payot Paris.
A selection of toiletries will also be available from cabin crew including Kevin Murphy hair brush and comb, toothbrush and Colgate toothpaste, Gillette razor, cotton knitted socks.
Setting the Mood
To improve the inflight experience, a unique LED cabin lighting system has been exclusively designed for our B747-300 and B747-400 aircraft.
The first of its kind in the skies, the system adjusts the interior ambience of the cabin in line with the time of day and onboard activities, making flying more relaxing.
