Safety

We’re committed to excellence in everything we do, including ensuring the safety of our workers and protecting the assets of our customers. With a dedicated safety program in place including an integrated safety management system, significant investment in safe plant and equipment design, and a comprehensive risk analysis process, Q Catering has achieved a 65% reduction in lost time injuries. We strive to be recognised as a leader in the prevention of injuries, accidents and incidents through dedication to system safety principles, quality processes and commitment to continuous improvement.

Environment

Q Catering is committed to achieving the following targets by 2011 to reduce our environmental impact:

  • 25% reduction in water consumption
  • 25% reduction in waste to landfill
  • 10% reduction in energy consumption

Our centres have introduced programs to reduce water consumption and waste. We’re installing water-wise wash lines, implementing waste segregation, and exploring recycling opportunities.
