Fees for Consultant Assisted Bookings

The following fees apply to bookings and (where permitted) changes made through Qantas Telephone Sales, Qantas Travel Centres and Qantas airport locations. These fees do not apply to bookings and changes made online at qantas.com.

The fees for consultant assisted bookings apply in addition to any amounts payable under the applicable fare rules, which are summarised in the Fare Guide below.

Fees for making bookings: For bookings made through Qantas Telephone Sales, Airports and Qantas Travel outlets, a fee of A$35 per person applies. For Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Award bookings made through Qantas Telephone Sales, a per-person Award Assistance Fee in either money or points will apply.

Fees for making changes to bookings: For changes made to Economy bookings (where permitted under the applicable fare rules) through Qantas Telephone Sales, Airports or Qantas Travel outlets:

• where the original booking was made through Qantas Telephone Sales, a fee of A$10 per person applies;

• where the original booking was not made through Qantas Telephone Sales, a fee of A$40 per person applies.

The above fees do not apply for bookings made or changed online at qantas.com.

Important Notes

The fare for your new booking may be higher than the original fare, depending on what fares are available.
You must pay any difference between the fare for your new booking and the original fare.
Where you are keeping the value of your booking, your new booking must be for travel anywhere on the Qantas network within 12 months of the date that the original ticket was issued.
Upgrade awards are not available on Qantas & Partner Classic Award Flights or QantasLink regional flights.

# Your booking may be eligible for Book Now, Pay Later depending on your departure date and provided it is not combined with an immediate payment domestic flight. Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards are not eligible for Book Now, Pay Later. If your booking is eligible, you will be given the option to pay later on the Purchase page. You will also be told when full payment is due (note while your booking is on hold, the total ticket price may change due to amendments in surcharges, taxes and fare adjustments). A $25 per person holding guarantee (which will be refunded on full payment online) holds the booking for you until the due date for payment. If you do not make payment, you will forfeit the holding guarantee.

^ If this fare is booked as part of the Global Business Class sale, Domestic Business Companion Sale, Two or more Sale, the fare is non-refundable, two or more passengers must be booked and travel together, child discounts do not apply.

~ Name change: The value of an unused ticket may, at the request of the passenger named on the ticket, be used as credit towards payment for a new ticket in another person’s name. The original booking is cancelled and flights for the new passenger must be in a new booking from available inventory. This policy does not allow passengers to hold the original inventory seat. The original issuing office is the only office with the authority to reissue the ticket. Name change not available via Qantas.com
