Taxes, fees and surcharges:
Prices include fuel surcharges of $289 for the international flights and the three free stopover flights in Australia. Additional insurance and fuel surcharges per flight will apply to additional Australian domestic flights purchased. $21.60 per sector on Qantas flight numbers QF1400-1499/2000-2849. $23 per sector on all other Qantas domestic Australia flight numbers. US and foreign taxes, fee, including September 11th Security Fee, are an additional $150 to $200 depending upon itinerary.
Queensland cities:
Queensland cities include Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hamilton Island, Rockhampton, Mackay and Gladstone.
Flight restrictions:
Travel between the US and Australia is only valid on Qantas flights QF176 and QF175 or QF16 and QF15 after 26 October 2008. For US domestic flights, travel is limited to Qantas or American Airlines flights numbers. If other US domestic carriers are used, higher fares will apply.
Minimum stay:
Return travel must commence no earlier than 7 days after departure from the US.
Maximum Stay:
For AirPass (Q-PSQ) type fares, the maximum stay permitted is 21 days. For AirPass (S-PSQ) type fares, the maximum stay permitted is 3 months. A surcharge of $300 applies.
All travel must start on or before 8 December 2008 and completed by 31 December 2008.
Stopovers:
3 free stopovers in Queensland, Australia are included with unlimited stopovers permitted in Queenland AirPass cities from an additional $100 each plus taxes and fees.
Reservations and ticketing:
Reservations for all flights must be confirmed. Bookings are only available 11 months in advance from date of reservation. Form of payment must be provided at the end of the transaction. For AirPass (Q-PS) type fares, tickets will be issued within 72 hours of confirmation. For AirPass (S-PS) type fares, reservations must be made 7 days before departure and tickets will be issued within 72 hours of confirmation. The Qantas Aussie AirPass is valid for ticketing through 30 June 2008.
Child discounts:
Children aged between 2 and 11 years pay 75% of the adult fare. A maximum of 2 child fares per adult permitted. Infants under 2 years and not occupying a seat pay 10% of the adult fare.
Booking changes:
Date changes are permitted for a fee of $100 per person per change. Rerouting is not permitted at anytime. Note: other conditions apply. Contact Qantas reservations for all conditions.
Cancellation:
Tickets are non refundable. Note: the amount of the fare paid less $100 may be used as a credit toward the purchase of a higher applicable roundtrip, non pass/non Red Tail discounted fare. Note: the new fare must be higher in value than the amount paid for this fare. Other conditions apply. Contact Qantas reservations for all conditions.
Visa requirements:
It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure all visa requirements are complied with.
