About the Qantas A380
The Qantas A380 is the most efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft yet. It burns 17% less fuel per seat than today's largest jets and produces around 60% less carbon dioxide than the average family car, per passenger kilometre. It's also much quieter than other large aircraft. It reduces take-off noise by half and delivers a quieter, almost silent, cabin experience in flight.

Make yourself at home
Your luxurious First Suite is your private sanctuary in the sky. Designed by Marc Newson, every detail has been considered to ensure the ultimate in comfort and style. From the large, comfortable armchair with soft leather armrests to the advanced entertainment system, it's everything you would expect from a true first-class experience.
Stretch out and relax
With a touch of your Suite controller you can convert your seat into an extra long and fully flat bed. At 212cm (up to 83.5in) long and 73cm (29in) wide, you can stretch out in comfort. Your Suite controller allows you to move easily into any number of positions. Adjust everything from the recline angle to the lumbar support. For truly deep relaxation, try the 5-zone massage system.
A superb night's sleep
Our bedding down service transforms your seat into a luxurious, fully flat bed with a large linen pillow. The sheepskin covered mattress is encased in a soft, pure cotton sheet. A duvet and warm wool blanket will keep you cosy. Use your Suite controller to turn off or dim your light, adjust your privacy divider, then settle in for a peaceful sleep.
Dining at the top
Enjoy a gourmet menu created in conjunction with leading Australian restaurateur, Neil Perry. Begin your meal with canapes and a choice of starters. Then choose a la carte dining or indulge in the 8-course tasting menu on selected flights. Naturally, all meals are made to order with the freshest ingredients and are presented on tableware designed by Marc Newson and created by Noritake and Alessi.
Our wine list features the finest Champagnes and Australian wines. It has been awarded 'Best First Class' list at the prestigious Cellar in the Sky Awards. To ensure your meal is perfectly complemented, our onboard sommeliers* are on hand to help guide your choice.

Your flat bed in the sky
Acclaimed Australian designer Marc Newson has continued the evolution of our award-winning Skybed. It now lies fully flat and extends to over 200cm (up to 80in). That ensures you have plenty of space to stretch out, unwind and enjoy a relaxing night's sleep. When it's time to rise, the electronic controls return you to the perfect seating position.
Dining at its finest
Decide what and when you'd like to dine with a menu created in conjunction with leading Australian restaurateur, Neil Perry. Choose from room service-style breakfast to multi-course restaurant-style dinner, a 'dine later' option or an 'express meal', all presented on beautiful tableware designed by Marc Newson and created by Noritake and Alessi. If you are after a snack, our crew can provide you with refreshments or you can help yourself to the self-serve bar.

Onboard Business Lounge
You're welcome to catch up with colleagues, help yourself to refreshments or browse the reading material as you relax on the sofa in our Onboard Business Lounge. If you need an impromptu meeting room, it's ideal for that too. The large 58cm (23in) LCD screen is perfect for displaying a presentation or viewing video.
A380 International Premium Economy
Years of experience have taught us much about making travellers feel welcome onboard. In the exclusive 32-seat International Premium Economy cabin of the A380 upper deck, you will be hosted by a dedicated flight attendant, treated to drinks before take-off, and receive priority service throughout your flight. Stretch out, relax and enjoy the service.

With a focus on enhanced personal space and comfort, the Premium Economy seat, designed by Marc Newson and built by Recaro, sets a new standard in international travel. Sit back and relax in the comfort of the ergonomically designed 49.5cm (19.5in) wide seat. Enjoy the layback of 22.8cm (9in) seat recline, as you rest your head on the multi-way adjustable head support.
Legroom
The Premium Economy seat has been specially designed to optimise legroom, so you can really stretch out and relax. Rest your legs on the fold-out footrest, which is integrated into your seat to give your legs extra support.
Dining
Start your journey with a complimentary glass of Champagne (juice or water if you prefer) before take-off. When it's time to dine, you'll enjoy our Neil Perry-inspired menu complemented by premium Australian wines. If you're peckish during your flight, you can pick up a snack or drink anytime from the self-serve snack bar.

When it's time to unwind and settle down for the night, you'll experience a new level of comfort with a seat back that reclines, while the seat itself moves to create a more restful position. Adjust the headrest 'wings' for head and neck support, while you relax with a large soft pillow and warm blanket.
Put your feet up
The International Economy seat has been specially designed to optimise legroom and help you stretch out. To give your legs extra support while you relax, you can slip your feet into the newly designed footrest net found under the seat in front of you.
Dining
Our varied and contemporary menu features Heart Foundation-approved choices. Our meals are served with a selection of Australian premium wines on Marc Newson designed tableware.
