At a Glance

Location:	8km (5 miles) from the city.
Qantas flights:	Qantas Domestic flights QF400 and above operate from this terminal.
Departure information:	Ticket Counter The Sales desk is open from 4.30am to 6pm. Domestic ticketing facilities are available on day of travel only. Only emergency International ticketing is available on day of travel. Check-in Check-in for Qantas Domestic flights is located on the ground floor. Open during airport operating hours from 4am to 10.30pm. Online Check-in is now available for Qantas and QantasLink Australian domestic bookings between 24 hours and 1 hour before your flight departure.
Transfer between terminals:	You can walk between terminals, by following the directional signs. It takes approximately 5 minutes.
Arrival information:	Baggage carousels are located in the Arrivals hall (ground floor). Information monitors display flight carousel numbers. Baggage Services has a counter located on the ground floor next to the baggage carousels.
Qantas Club:	Located in the Departure lounge next to Gate 16. Open from 4.45am until the last departure. Qantas is building a brand new Qantas club at Cairns Airport, due to open in early December 2009. Due to ongoing construction at the Cairns Domestic Terminal, the current interim Qantas Club lounge will close from 19 October 2009 while the new lounge is built. During this period, eligible members and their guests should contact a Qantas representative at the airport for more information.

Car parking	The airport is approximately a 10 minute drive from the city. Visit the Cairns Airport website for current car parking rates
Taxis	Approximately A$15 one way to Cairns city.
Buses	Australia Coach operate airport shuttles to hotels and the city centre. Fares start at A$8 one way.
Car rentals	Visit our cars section to make a booking.
Qantas Drive	To travel to or from the airport via limousine, contact Qantas Drive to make a booking.

Currency exchange	Located in the centre of the terminal just inside the main entrance.

Post box	Located next to the accommodation board in the main concourse area.
Meet and Assist	Passengers requiring assistance can be escorted to the departure gate upon request. Ask a Customer Service Agent for assistance.
