Construction of a new combined domestic and international terminal is currently underway in Christchurch. The new terminal will offer an enhanced airport experience with improved seating, retail and cafe areas. Check-in
Check-in is located on the ground floor.
Check-in for International flights is from 3 hours before departure.
For International departures, check-in at least 2 hours before departure. Please have your passport and airline tickets ready. Remember to ensure all sharp objects have been placed in your suitcase. Sharp objects are not permitted within hand luggage and will be confiscated by Aviation Security at the Security checkpoint.
Note: For Qantas codeshare flights, customers may need to check in with the operating carrier rather than with Qantas. Ask airport staff for more detail.
Online Check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199) and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online Check-in opens 24 hours before your international flight departure and closes 2 hours before departure.

Information monitors display flight carousel numbers.
Baggage Services has a counter located beside carousels.

Transfer between Terminals
The domestic and international terminals are within the same building. You can easily walk from one to the other.

Manaia Lounge is located Airside on Level 1 left of gate 26.
Note: There is no Qantas Club available at the domestic terminal.
