A Passenger Terminal Fee (Airport Tax) is payable on departure for all passengers aged 2 years and over travelling with a ticket issued outside of the Philippines. Effective 1 February 2007, the fee increased from PHP550 to PHP750.

There are two terminals at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
- Qantas flights QF1-QF399 operate from Terminal 1.
- oneworld carrier Cathay Pacific also operates from this terminal.
Departures
Departure Information
Ticket Counter
Located on Level 4.
Limited ticketing facilities are available.
Open from 10am to 9.30pm.

Check-in
Check-in is located on the Departures level.
Opens 3 hours before departure.
Passengers are advised to check-in at least 90 minutes before departure for Economy class and 60 minutes before departure for Business class.
Check at the Information Desk in the departure lobby or follow the Qantas signs to the check-in counters.
Check-in for Business, Chairmans Lounge, Qantas Club and oneworld Emerald passengers is available at a dedicated counter.
Online Check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199), and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online Check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departure and closes 2 hours before international flight departures.
Note: For Qantas codeshare flights, customers may need to check in with the operating carrier rather than with Qantas. Ask airport staff for more detail.

Baggage carousels are located in the Arrivals Hall (level 2).
Information monitors display flight carousel numbers.
Baggage Services is handled by MIASCOR Ground Handling.
The counter is located on Level 4, room 421.
Transfers
Transfer between terminals
All Philippine Airlines flights operate from Terminal 2.
On arrival, transferring passengers must clear customs and immigration in Terminal 1 and transfer to Terminal 2.
Taxis operate between the terminals and travel time is 20-30 minutes. Fare is approximately PHP100.
Qantas Club
Qantas Club Information
- Located in the Departures lounge on Level 3 near Gate 2.
- Qantas Club is operated by Pagstop and is open from 3 hours before departure.

| Buses | Operate to Makati City and Manila. The bus stop is located outside the Terminal on the Arrivals level. Fares start at PHP10 per person one way. |
| Train | MRT (Metro Rail Transit) and LRT (Light Rail Transit) trains operate from Baclaran to the city. Baclaran is located approximately 5km (3 miles) from the airport terminal. Services operate from 5am to 10pm and depart regularly. Fares start at PHP10 per person one way. |

| Limousine | There is a Limousine Service Counter in the Arrivals Hall after Customs. Prices start at PHP2,200 to Makati City and Manila. |
