Qantas flights QF400 and above operate from this terminal.
T2 - International Terminal
Qantas International flights QF1-QF399 and oneworld flights operate from this terminal.
T3 - Virgin Blue and Regional Express
Departures
Departure Information
Ticket Counter
Located in the Departures area (Level 1).
Open from 4am to 12.45am.
Check-in
Check-in is located in the Departures area (Level 1).
Open from 3.30am to midnight.
Economy check-in for Qantas flights is available at counters 1 to 18.
Business and Qantas Club passenger check-in is available at counters 23 to 29.
Note: Check-in for Qantas International flights is 3 hours before departure.
First, Platinum, Chairmans Lounge and oneworld Emerald passengers may access the First Class Check-in Suite from the kerbside adjacent to the Business counters.
Note: For Qantas codeshare flights, customers may need to check in with the operating carrier rather than with Qantas. Ask airport staff for more detail.
Online Check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199), and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online Check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departure and closes 2 hours before international flight departures.
Body Scanners
Effective from 1 December 2012, full body scanning requirements will be progressively introduced at Melbourne international airport.

Baggage carousels are located in the Arrivals area (ground floor).
Information monitors display flight carousel numbers.
Baggage Services has a counter located inside the International Arrivals hall. Open from 4am until the last flight departure.
