Location:	8km (5 miles) from the city.
Qantas flights:	Both domestic and international services operate from this airport. Qantas flights QF1-QF399 are international services.
Departure information:	Ticket Counter The Sales desk is located on the first floor adjacent to the check-in counters. Open from 4am to 7.15pm. Contact the local Qantas office for assistance. Check-in Check-in is located on the first floor. Open from 4am to 7.15pm. Check in at least two hours before departure. Please have your passport and airline tickets ready. Remember to ensure all sharp objects have been placed in your suitcase. Sharp objects are not permitted within hand luggage and will be confiscated by Aviation Security at the Security checkpoint. Online Check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199) and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online Check-in opens 24 hours before your international flight departure and closes 2 hours before departure.
Arrival information:	Baggage carousels are located in the Arrivals hall (ground floor). Information monitors display flight carousel numbers. Baggage Services is handled by Air New Zealand.
Qantas Lounges:	Qantas International Business Lounge is located in the International Departures Lounge, for international passengers. Opens 90 minutes before Qantas departures. Qantas Club is located on Level 2, for domestic passengers. Open from 6am until 8am and 12.30pm until last Jetstar departure^{^}.

Getting to and from the Airport

Transport	Details
Car	The airport is approximately a 20 minute drive from the city. Visit Wellington Airport website for current car parking rates.
Taxis	Approximately NZ$30 - $35 to the city.
Buses	Airport Flyer is an express bus service that runs from Wellington International Airport to the Hutt Valley, through the centre of Wellington. The service runs every 15 minutes. Fares start from NZ$8 per adult one way. Door to door shuttle services are also available from several shuttle companies. The departure point for these shuttles is located on the ground floor outside the southern end of the terminal.

Parents room	Located in the main terminal on the first floor. Baby change tables are also available in male and female toilets throughout the airport.
Currency exchange	Travelex counter is located in the main terminal on level 1.

ATMs	Located throughout the airport.
Tourism information	Brochures are available in the Arrivals Hall.
Baggage Storage	Storage room area is available in the main terminal on the ground floor. Charges start at NZ$0.50 per hour - minimum cost NZ$5.
Meet and Assist	Passengers requiring assistance can be escorted to the departure gate upon request. Ask a Customer Service Agent for assistance.
