Qantas Engineering's customers include Qantas Airlines, Jetstar, Qantas Defence Services and Express Freighters Australia (operating for AaE) implementing engineering and maintenance solutions for Boeing 737, 747 and 767 and Airbus A330 aircraft.

Working with state-of-the-art equipment and resources on leading edge engineering solutions you will help maintain Qantas Engineering's position as the commercially successful supplier of choice for not just the Qantas Group but for around 30 other customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

To maintain our levels of operational success for our customers' aircraft, we are looking for talented people in the following areas:

Professional Engineers

As a qualified Engineer in areas of expertise including Avionics, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Structural and/or Power Plant fields you will provide safe, cost effective and high quality engineering solutions to support the aircraft fleet in relation to airworthiness and reliability, ensuring compliance with certification and ongoing regulatory requirements.

Your Professional Engineering qualifications and experience in project management, and possibly aircraft operational support, would be your platform for a dynamic and successful career.

Aircraft Trades

Utilise your skills in one of the largest aircraft engineering and maintenance organisations in the Asia-Pacific region, incorporating Line Maintenance and Heavy Maintenance with an international reputation for operational excellence and safety.

With a workforce of predominantly Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs), you can build your career at our maintenance facilities and line stations across Australia and overseas and help deliver world's best practice performance.

Aircraft Support Trades

Be a part of the team tasked to maintain optimum performance for an array of engine and aircraft components including fuel, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and avionics.

Qantas Engineering's centres of excellence incorporate a range of industry leading technical functions to ensure our reputation for high quality engineering is maintained by delivering highly reliable support that meets the various regulatory standards.

The workforce consists of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Aircraft Mechanics and a range of specialist skills such as Painters, Trimmers, Fitters and Turners.
