Orpheus Island Destination Information

Orpheus Island is a true Great Barrier Reef island, located 80 kilometres north of and is about 24 kilometres offshore. Orpheus Island stretches for 11 kilometres and comprises of 1,368 hectares of pristine National Park.

Orpheus Island is a natural beauty of open woodland and rainforest draped national park, surrounded by sheltered bays with breathtaking turquoise waters and fringing coral reefs. This island paradise provides an exceptional environment for exploring flora and fauna, and there is a range of nature activities available to guests on a complimentary basis. Orpheus Island is limited to 42 guests, so you won't be disturbed by day-trippers and has the highest standard of accommodation, food and service.
