There are 5 main areas in which to explore. From the modern metropolis of New Dubai to the traditional Souks of Deira, we have it covered!

• Deira
  Going for gold or going for spice. Deira is Souk heaven. Once you have bartered in the souks, re-energise yourself by ducking into one of the tucked-away cafes and having a shot of Arabic coffee. Spend the afternoon crossing the Creek in a traditional Abra, an atmospheric journey unchanged for decades.
• Bur Dubai
  Start your Dubai experience by visiting Dubai Museum for a factual and entertaining introduction to the city. This is the Dubai of bygone years. Enjoy a drink overlooking the creek or spend your time buying some traditional souvenirs at the lively Bar Dubai Souk.
• Sheikh Zayed Road
  Look upwards to know you're here. Yes this is the home to Dubai's most famous landmark, the Burj Khalifa. Soaring upwards for a staggering 828m, it's the world's tallest man-made structure. Take the speeding elevator to the top for incredible panoramic views. As you're breaking records, why not finish your time here with dinner and shopping at the World's Largest Shopping Mall - Dubai Mall with a record breaking 1200 shops!
• Jumeirah
  The place with the Burj al-Arab backdrop! For the greatest pictures of amazing architecture and a gorgeous network of Venetian-style canels, visit Madinat Jumeirah, the city within the city. There is plenty to do at this hotel, shopping and entertainment complex, especially admiring the views.
• New Dubai
  The metropolis where skycrapers meet the sand has lots on offer for a more relaxing visit. The Middle East's version of the Mediterranean! Enjoy cosmopolitan restaurants, cafes and boutiques for a waterfront lunch and gorgeous views at the Dubai Marina, or simply relax on the pristine golden sandy beach.

Dubai offers plenty of entertainment for youngsters and teenagers alike. Waterparks and other adrenalin fuelled activities are an obvious choice, while hotel pools and beaches are great options, however maybe more for the parents!

• Aquaventure
  Adrenalin rushes are guaranteed at this waterpark at the Atlantis the Palm Dubai. The centrepiece is the 27.5m-high Zigguarat, the launch pad for seven slides, including the 'Leap of Faith', a near vertical plunge into a shark infested lagoon, albeit protected by a transparent tunnel.
• Wild Wadi Waterpark
  With more than 12 Arabian themed water rides, the kids will be happy to leave the beach or hotel pool. Thrill your senses with the 33m-high Jumeirah Sceirah slide that drops at a speed of 80km/h or snooze along the white water river. The choice is yours. A great way to spend your time.
• Chilling with the Kids
  Would you ever have expected to be splashing around on the beach one day and then skiing another? No... then why not take your kids to tackle the snow slopes at Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates. A great experience when you've completed your shopping.
