Terms and Conditions for earning Qantas Frequent Flyer Points by booking selected hotels on qantas.com/hotels

  • You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program (“Member”) to earn and redeem points. Membership and points are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. A joining fee may apply.
  • Members can earn:
    • 3 Qantas Frequent Flyer points (“Points”) per $1 spent on accommodation at hotels in Australia booked on qantas.com which have a Qantas Frequent Flyer logo on the booking page. Points are earned on accommodation only (room rate) booked and paid for in this booking and are not earned on any additional fees or hotel sundries charged to the room (for example room service, hotel dining etc); or
    • 1000 Points per booking per stay at hotels outside Australia (excluding New Zealand) booked on qantas.com which have a Qantas Frequent Flyer logo on the booking page; or
    • 1000 Points per room per booking per stay at hotels in New Zealand booked on Qantas.com which have a Qantas Frequent Flyer logo on the booking page (subject to these terms and conditions).
  • A maximum of four rooms per booking can be booked on Qantas.com/hotels for hotels in Australia and New Zealand, and a maximum of one room per booking can be booked on Qantas.com/hotels for hotels outside Australia (excluding New Zealand).
  • Members must enter their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number at the time of booking on qantas.com in order to earn points.
  • Points cannot be split between two or more Members occupying the same room.
  • Points are not earned on cancelled bookings. Points are earned on no show bookings provided the Member has paid for the bookings in full and the booking has not been cancelled.
  • A stay is one night or several consecutive nights spent at a single hotel, even if the Member checks in and checks out more then once during that period.
  • Points can take up to 8 weeks after your stay to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
  • For hotels outside Australia (excluding New Zealand), Points may be earned only by the Member in whose name the booking is made.
  • For hotels in Australia, Points are earned by the member in whose name the booking is made, unless multiple Members are identified in the booking process for multiple room bookings in which case the Points earned on each room will be allocated to the Member identified for that room (provided their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details have been entered correctly). Any Points unable to be allocated (for example if a Member’s Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details have been incorrectly entered), these unallocated points will be distributed equally among the properly identified Members.
  • For hotels in New Zealand, Points are earned by the Member in whose name the booking is made, unless multiple Members are identified in the booking process for multiple room bookings in which case each Member will receive 1,000 points (provided their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details have been entered correctly). No Member may earn more than 1,000 Points for each stay in a single booking irrespective of how many rooms are included in the booking.
  • Points are earned in accordance with the rates set out above and these terms and conditions and are subject to change.
  • Note: The points earned by booking selected hotels on qantas.com/hotels are provided by Qantas Airways Limited. Other points earn offers may be provided by some Hotels (the Hotel may or may not offer points in addition to or instead of the Points earned by booking on qantas.com/hotels), although some Hotels may not allow Members to earn points with that Hotel in conjunction with this or other offers.
