Can I choose a car company that I would like to hire?

Yes you can choose from either Avis, Budget, Hertz or Thrifty by selecting the car of your choice in the Car provider drop down.

Where can I search to book a car?

There are four ways to start your car search at qantas.com:

• From the homepage - select the 'Cars' tab on the left hand side.
• Using the top Navigation bar - select 'Bookings' then 'Cars'.
• From the Cars panel on the confirmation page of a flight booking.
• From the Cars panel at 'Manage Your Booking' when you retrieve a flight booking.

How do I find the cheapest car hire?

• Try to book well in advance. The car rates are subject to availability, and being our lowest rate they sell fast.
• Try to book outside of peak times.
• Be flexible. Have alternative times and dates ready just in case your first preference is not available.
• View our special offers from by all car providers.

Note: Have all your details handy including your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number, your car loyalty program number and if required a valid promotional code. The booking engine is designed to time out after 10 minutes of inactivity for security.
