Step 6 - Payment

If you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer with sufficient points in your account to purchase your flights and have selected 'Use points', view Any Seat Award help for assistance.

You can now confirm and purchase your flights.

You have the option to purchase from a range of travel insurance policies offered by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited.

Qantas Frequent Flyers can purchase insurance using points or a credit card.

You can carbon offset your Qantas flights departing Australia from the 'Fly Carbon Neutral'.

Qantas Frequent Flyers can choose to offset Qantas Any Seat Award flights using points or a credit card.

Excludes International Multi-City and Jetstar bookings.

The 'Your Trip' panel displays key information of your booking.

The Flights section includes flight date and time, origin and destination, flight number, fare type, travel class and the total price.

If you have added travel insurance or carbon offset to your booking, the details will display here.
The Car section includes details for each car booked including pick-up and drop-off details and location, car provider and car type. Prices are displayed in the currency of the pick-up location that you will be charged in upon pick-up, and the display currency is shown in brackets for information purposes. Prices are estimated only.

To change your car, click the "Change Car" link.

The payment section is where you enter your payment details and view the total price for your flights, carbon and insurance. All fields marked by an asterisk * are mandatory. Cybertrust Secure Socket Layer encryption protects all information from this point from unauthorised viewing.

If your fare is eligible, you will be given the option to 'Pay now' or 'Pay later'.

Flight bookings can be made by BPAY (when booking a flight a week or more from departure) or Debit MasterCard (when booking a flight within a week) without any service fees for either payment method. Credit card payments can be made at any time, a service fee applies for bookings from Australia.

Credit cards must be used for all combined Qantas and Jetstar bookings and all bookings made outside of Australia.

Select your card type. Because customers can book from anywhere in the world using the Qantas website, credit cards accepted are:

• Visa Card
• MasterCard
• American Express
• Diners Card
• JCB
• UATP

Debit card payments, available for bookings within a week of departure, must be made with Debit MasterCard.

Logged in Qantas Frequent Flyer members can save up to three Payment Cards while making a booking.

If you have completed and checked all your details and are happy to continue click on the 'Confirmation' button at the bottom of the page, to confirm your trip. If you don't want to proceed with your booking, click on the 'Start Again' button.
