Step 3 - Select Flights
A list of available flights are displayed.
Flights available for the lowest return price per fare type are shown. Flight dates and times, destinations, flight number and duration of flight are also shown.
"Hurry" appears when five or less seats are available at that particular price.
This feature is not available for International Multi-City or Jetstar bookings.
For bookings from Australia, credit card payments attract a fee of A$30.00 per passenger per booking.
The symbol next to the flight number will refer to the carrier operating the flight and is decoded in the below list.
Fare types are colour coded for easy reference. Click on the fare type to see the conditions of that fare. Or click on the 'Fare Type' link to see the conditions for all fares.
You can also choose the way you would like to display your results by using the 'Sort results by' drop down list.
If you click on the flight number a pop up box will appear that shows:
- Who operates the flight,
- Departure and arrival cities and terminals,
- If you will be served a meal onboard,
- If the flight has any scheduled stopovers,
- The total flight time, and
- The type of aircraft you will be travelling on.
Qantas flights QF1 - QF399 depart from International Terminals. All other Qantas flights depart from Domestic Terminals. Jetstar flights JQ1 - JQ399 depart from International Terminals, all other Jetstar flights depart from Domestic Terminals.
You can change your travel dates, passenger types and search options, using the 'Your Search' panel on the left hand side of the page.
The total price per adult including taxes will be displayed at the bottom of the page.
If more than one adult is travelling, a grand total for all passengers including taxes will also be displayed below the total price per adult box.
To select flights, click on the radio button next to the price of the fare type and flight you want. If you searched for a return flight make sure you select both a Flight Out and a Flight Back.
Once you have made your selection, click on the 'Review' button at the bottom of the page, to review your selection. If you are not happy with your selection, click the 'Start Again' button to go back to the page you started your booking from.
