Buy your travel insurance with points

Great news!

Qantas Frequent Flyer members who are Australian residents can now redeem points on QBE Travel Insurance when booking a domestic or international flight departing from Australia at qantas.com^{^}.

How it works

When booking your next flight at qantas.com, login to Your Account and select "Yes" to the option of Travel Insurance on the payment page of your flight booking.

If you have enough points to cover the cost of your desired travel insurance, you will be automatically offered the choice of using your points instead of cash.

If you'd prefer to use your points instead of cash, tick the 'Pay with Points' option.

You need to be logged into Your Account and to have accumulated sufficient points to cover the entire payment for the required Travel Insurance, for the 'Pay with Points' option to display on the payment page.

Points may be used for Travel Insurance within your flight purchase at qantas.com even when your credit card has been used as the payment method for the flight/s you have selected.

Plus, you can still earn points.

Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn 1 point per A$1 spent on QBE Travel Insurance policies, excluding Australian Cancellation and Baggage insurance.
