Qantas Holidays Launches ReadyRooms
Sydney, 02 July 2004
Qantas Holidays has launched a new Internet booking service - 'ReadyRooms' - for last minute Australia-wide accommodation.
Head of Qantas Holidays, Simon Bernardi, said ReadyRooms, which begins operating today, would meet the needs of people who wanted to book accommodation in Australia within 14 days.
"ReadyRooms not only offers great value hotels, but also offers Qantas Frequent Flyer points at partner hotels. "Another aspect of the website is that people don't need to fly to their destination to take advantage of ReadyRooms, making the service ideal for anyone planning a quick night away," Mr Bernardi said. "ReadyRooms will save people time and money by allowing them to access a large range of hotels for availability, prices and information, plus offering users the ability to compare normal and discounted room rates all on the one website."
Accommodation in hotels nationwide can be accessed via ReadyRooms, which features special offers, images of hotel rooms, facilities and location maps.
To help celebrate the launch of ReadyRooms, Accor is holding a special offer from July 1-20, 2004, where anyone who books a room on the new website at any participating Accor property enters a daily draw to win $1000 worth of Accor accommodation.
ReadyRooms is currently available for Australian hotels only and can be accessed at www.qantas.com/hotels or www.readyrooms.com.au
