Qantas, Australian Airlines To Add Extra Services For Stranded Air Paradise Passengers
Sydney, 24 November 2005
Qantas and Australian Airlines have announced another two special services to help bring home an estimated 1,400 Air Paradise ticket holders currently stranded in Bali.
This brings to four the number of extra services Qantas and Australian Airlines have added since Air Paradise's announcement yesterday that it would suspend operations between Bali and Australia.
Qantas Executive General Manager John Borghetti said Qantas would now operate three services between Bali and Perth.
"The first service will arrive tomorrow at 4.50am, with the second and third service arriving at the same time on 26 November and 29 November.
"In addition, Australian Airlines will operate a special service to Sydney which will depart from Bali on 26 November, and arrive in Sydney at 7.30am the following morning," Mr Borghetti said.
Air Paradise ticket holders who are stranded in Indonesia should call Qantas on (0361) 288331 or toll free on 001 803 61336, or alternatively 001 61 7 32387776, to be booked onto Qantas or Australian Airlines services.
