New York (JFK) to Australia Terms and Conditions
Taxes and fees:
Prices are each way based on round trip purchase. Prices include fuel surcharges of $160 for the international sectors. US and foreign taxes, fee including September 11th Security Fee, are an additional $120 to $150 depending upon itinerary.
Flight restrictions:
Domestic US flights must use Qantas or American Airlines flight numbers.
Qantas flight numbers QF108 and QF107 must be used between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles or between New York (JFK) and Sydney/Auckland.
Minimum stay:
None.
Maximum stay:
12 months.
Stopovers:
2 stopovers are permitted, 1 free in Auckland and 1 at $150.
Exception: Destination Cairns, 1 free stopover permitted plus 1 additional stopover at $150 in Sydney or Brisbane or Melbourne.
Reservations and ticketing:
When booking online, reservations are required at least 72 hours before departure, but no later than 22 July 2009. Payment is required at time of reservation. Qantas flights are booked in N class. Tickets must be purchased no later than 22 July 2009.
Note: Qantas flights operating on 747 or A380 equipment or a combination thereof depending on itinerary chosen. A380 schedule subject to change and last minute change of aircraft.
Travelling with children:
Children aged between 2 and 11 years pay 75% of the adult fare. A maximum of 2 children fares per adult permitted. Infants under 2 years and not occupying a seat pay 10% of the adult fare.
Booking changes:
After ticket issuance, dates changes and rerouting are permitted at a charge of $200 per transaction. A separately local service fee may apply.
Cancellation:
Ticket is non refundable.
Frequent flyer:
Frequent flyer upgrade is not permitted.
Visa requirements:
It is the passenger's responsiblity to ensure all visa requirements are complied with.
