Qantas Airways has appointed Rohan Garnett vice president of leisure sales in North America, based in Los Angeles.
In his current role, Garnett will oversee the company's relationships with industry trade partners, including
travel agents and tourism authorities, etc., and manage group sales and business development initiatives
aimed at generating passenger revenue through various strategic promotions, programs and relations. He will
also be responsible for assisting with the overall commercial development of the region given his broad and

"With Rohan's extensive background and experience in all aspects of airline operations including sales, he will
be an asset to Qantas's North American management team," said Wally R. Mariani, A.M., senior executive
vice president, The Americas and Pacific. "His demonstrated leadership, strategic capabilities and proven
