New Los Angeles Lounges Open
New First and Business lounges have opened at the Los Angeles Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).
Developed by Qantas in partnership with Cathay Pacific and British Airways, the joint lounge features a bank of plasma screen televisions with "moving art" in the reception area, buffets with complimentary hot and cold snacks and refreshments. Enhanced business facilities including wireless capabilities, an entertainment zone, nine luxury shower suites and a serviced bar area featuring 5 plasma televisions.
Features of the lounge
- Total seating capacity of First and Business increased from 124 to 300.
- Total size of the new First and Business lounge increased from 920sqm to 1360sqm.
- 9 x Private shower suites (including disabled), a facility not offered in the previous lounge.
- New buffets offering complimentary hot and cold snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
- New serviced bar offering members a selection of complimentary drinks during opening hours.
- Internet "touch-down" desk complete with high speed Internet PC's.
- Entertainment zones featuring Plasma TV's and a selection of magazines and newspapers.
- Wireless capabilities in both First and Business lounges.
First and Business lounges at TBIT serve Qantas flights to/from New York and direct flights from Los Angeles to Sydney. Qantas and American Airlines joint lounge in Terminal 4 serves customers departing on direct flights to Brisbane (QF26) and flights to Melbourne via Auckland (QF16).
