FAQs

Where is T3 located?

If you are driving to the Sydney Domestic Terminal precinct, follow the signs  to Qantas Domestic Terminal 3. It is located after Terminal 2. If you are arriving by train, the Sydney Domestic Airport train station is located under both T2 and T3. Alight from the train and follow the signs to T3. Customers who are travelling to Sydney Domestic Airport by bus can alight at the bus stop located at T3

What time do I need to arrive at the airport?

The recommended check-in time for a domestic flight is 45 minutes prior to departure. During the initial period, and if it is your first time departing from T3, we recommend you arrive earlier to familiarise yourself with T3 check-in.

What happens if I accidentally go to the wrong terminal and miss my flight?

Qantas staff will be available at the airport to assist and will book you on the next available service.

Will Qantas Club members still have access to the Qantas Lounge in T2?

The Qantas Lounge in T2 will continue to operate while QantasLink is in the terminal and close thereafter. Eligible Qantas Frequent Flyers travelling on Jetstar are welcome to visit Qantas Lounges in T3.
